John Macnaught Glover (5 June 1859 - 25 January 1922) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was John Anderson Glover (2 February 1831 - 24 September 1899), a provost of Dumfries.
His mother was Jane Renwick (27 August 1830 - 31 July 1908) from Maxwelltown. John Anderson and Jane married on 16 April 1852 in Dumfries.
John Macnaught Glover was born on 5 June 1859 in Maxwelltown, Dumfriesshire.
He married Elizabeth Adams (12 January 1863 - 22 December 1945) from Dumfries. They married on 28 January 1881 in Dumfries.

[edit]He died on 25 January 1922 in 38 Church St, Maxwelltown, Dumfries. He was buried on 28 Janaury 1922 in Troqueer New Burial Ground cemetery in grave 114.
