Arthur Percy Dixon (28 March 1864 - 1 March 1917) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]His father was William Etherington Dixon (born c. 1837).
His mother was Margaret Ann Thompson (born c. 1837). William and Margaret married in 1860.
Arthur Percy Dixon was born in Sculcoates, near Hull, in Yorkshire on 28 March 1864.
Around the age of 15 Arthur and his family moved to Scotland.

[edit]He died of pneumonia in a nursing home in Morningside, Edinburgh on 1 March 1917.[2] [3][4]
The funeral took place on 3 March 1917.
