Robert Cree Crawford (29 January 1842 - 7 November 1924) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]His father was William Crawford (born 4 January 1809), a wool merchant and broker from Govan.
His mother was Janet Cree (1811 - 1892), known as Jessie, from Glasgow. William and Jessie married on 19 September 1836 in the Gorbals, Glasgow.
Robert Cree Crawford was born on 29 January 1842 in the Gorbals.
He married Sophia Jean Sime (19 May 1855 - 16 December 1929) from Anderston, Glasgow. They married on 27 April 1896 in Glasgow.

[edit]He died on 7 November 1924 in Hillhead, Glasgow.
He is buried in Faslane Cemetery, near Garelochhead.[2]
