Thomas Clark (14 November 1820 - 7 October 1876) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]His father was William Clark (23 May 1777 - 8 November 1863), a Writer to the Signet and a Justice of the Peace for Clackmannanshire, born in Edinburgh.[2]
His mother was Margaret Bennett (died July 1830). She died in Dollarbeg, Clackmannanshire. William and Margaret married on 24 August 1814 in Edinburgh.[3]
Thomas Clark was born on 14 November 1820 in Whiteside, East Stirlingshire, near Bathgate.[4]
