James Cadzow (30 October 1881 - 11 June 1941) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]His father was James Cadzow [Snr.] (born c. 1847), a farmer from Craighead, Carluke.
His mother was Janet Young (born c. 1843) from Lesmahagow. James [Snr.] and Janet married in 1871 in Carluke, South Lanarkshire.
James Cadzow was born on 30 October 1881 in Carluke.
Art

[edit]He collapsed and died on 11 June 1941 at the starter's box at Monifieth golf course.[2] His usual address was Leebank, 2 Balmoyle Road, Broughty Ferry.[3]
The funeral was at Carluke cemetery.[8]
