Thomas Austen Brown (18 September 1857 - 9 June 1924) was a Scottish painter.[1]

His father was the painter Thomas Brown (born c. 1827).
His mother was Mary Cooper (born c. 1835).
Thomas Austen Brown was born in Edinburgh on 18 September 1857.
He was staying with the artist Charles Edward Ritchie in St. Pancreas, London in 1901.[3]
