Albert Paterson Barclay (30 September 1912 - 15 August 1998) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]His father was Andrew Paterson Barclay (1878 - 1946), a police constable from Collessie in Fife.
His mother was Mary Anderson (1878 - 1959) from St. Andrews. Andrew and Mary married on 22 June 1900 at Kennoway in Fife. The couple moved to Edinburgh in 1901.
Albert Paterson Barclay was born in 60 St. Leonard's Hill, Edinburgh on 30 September 1912.

He married Ada Johnson Roberts in 1942 in Edinburgh. They had a daughter Lynda.
Art
[edit]He was the Art Master at Perth Academy.[2]
Death
[edit]He died on 15 August 1998 at Perth Royal Infirmary. The funeral was on 20 August 1998 at Perth Crematorium.[3]
