Leonard Baker (19 October 1831 - 20 September 1911) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
[edit]Leonard Baker was born in Islington, London, England on 19 October 1831.
He married Ann Robertson (25 February 1836 - 22 March 1873) from Stirling. Leonard and Ann married on 3 July 1861 in Stirling.
They had 6 children, all boys. Ann died 3 days after the birth of their last son Frederick Baker.
The painter Edmund Baker (26 June 1862 -5 August 1926) is their eldest son.

[edit]He died on 20 September 1911 in Stirling.
He is buried in the Holy Rood churchyard in Stirling, along with his wife.[3]
