Duncan Shanks (30 August 1937 - ) is a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Duncan Faichney Shanks [Snr] (15 December 1893 - 16 November 1956) from Airdrie.
His mother was Lizzie Provan Clark (16 May 1896 - 8 June 1944) from Airdrie. Duncan [Snr] and Lizzie married in Airdrie in 1926.
Duncan Faichney Shanks was born on 30 August 1937 at 6 McAllister Avenue, Airdrie.[3]
