Thomas Robertson (c. 1823 - 25 February 1866) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Adam Robertson (c. 1803 - 7 April 1871), a housepainter from Ladykirk in the Scottish Borders.
His mother was Jane Gibbinson (c. 1802 - 3 January 1872) from Alnwick. Adam and Jane married at the St. John Lee parish in Northumberland, England on 9 April 1825.
Thomas Robertson was born c. 1823 in Alnwick, England.[3][4]
He married Margaret Threw in 1844 in Alnwick.

[edit]He died at his home in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow on 25 February 1866.[5]
He is buried in Glasgow Necropolis.[6]
