Eric Harald Macbeth Robertson (13 February 1887 - 29 April 1941) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was Andrew Macbeth Robertson (9 December 1839 - 2 April 1900), a commercial traveller from Lerwick.[4]
His mother was Jane Fairbairn (3 September 1842 - 1905) from Glasgow.[5] Andrew and Jane married on 19 July 1869 in St. Mary's manse in Dumfries.
Eric Harald Macbeth Robertson was born in Dumfries on 13 February 1887.[6]
He married the artist Cecile Walton (29 March 1891 – 23 April 1956). They married on 21 February 1914 in Edinburgh.
The couple separated in 1924 due to Robertson's drinking and later divorced in 1927.

[edit]He died on 29 April 1941 at Thingwall near Birkenhead, in the Wirral, England.[7]
