Alexander Abernethy Ritchie (13 July 1814 - 11 April 1850) was a Scottish painter and stone mason.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Thomas Ritchie (1775 - 1840) from Edinburgh.
His mother was Janet Little (22 November 1780 - 1861) from Edinburgh. Thomas and Janet married on 29 October 1799 in Canongate, Edinburgh.
Alexander Abernethy Ritchie was born on 13 July 1814 in Edinburgh.
