Andrew Richmond (c. 1836 - 27 December 1899) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was James Richmond (c. 1814 - 2 December 1891), a handloom weaver from Galston, Ayrshire.[7]
His mother was Robina Neill (born c. 1818) from Galston.
Andrew Richmond was born c. 1836 in Galston.[8]
He married Jessie Cameron (born c. 1834) from Glasgow. They married on 11 June 1858 in Glasgow.[9]
Their daughter Mary Andrewina Richmond (30 January 1864 - 1939) was born in Govan.

[edit]He died at his home Richmond Villa, Copeland Road, in Govan on 27 December 1899.[10] The value of his estate was £757 and 11 shillings.[11]
