William Renison (17 August 1866 - 24 December 1949) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was William Renison (born c. 1839), a power loom manufacturer from Glasgow.
His mother was Catherine Kennedy Taylor (18 November 1844 - 4 April 1930) from Trinidad and Tobago. William and Catherine married on 16 November 1865 in Anderston, Glasgow.
William Renison was born on 17 August 1866 in Glasgow.[5]
He married Lillian Edwardina Church.

[edit]He died on 24 December 1949 at Rannoch, Gordon Road, Crieff, Perthshire. He died of cardiovascular degeneration.
