David Ramsay (14 November 1869 - 15 April 1936) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was David Ramsay [Snr] (c. 1838 - 14 October 1902), a joiner from Ayr.
His mother was Janet Kilgour (16 July 1837 - 14 May 1923) from St Quivox, Ayrshire. David [Snr] and Janet married in Glasgow on 17 February 1862.
David Ramsay was born on 14 November 1869 in Ayr.
He married Sarah Ferguson on 28 December 1898 in Kilmarnock.

[edit]He died in Greenock on 15 April 1936. His usual address was then The Cairn, 85 Forsyth Street, Greenock. His estate was valued at £675, 7 shillings and 10 pence.[3]
