William M. Pratt (17 April 1855 - 26 November 1936) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was Arthur Pratt (20 April 1817 - 24 August 1881), a house painter from Dysart in Fife.
His mother was Ann McKenzie (born 1 April 1821) from Renfrew. They married in Glasgow on 12 December 1841 in Glasgow.
William Pratt was born on 17 April 1855 in Tradeston, Glasgow.[5]
He married Margaret Oliver Chisholm (c. 1855 - 4 May 1936), the youngest daughter of the woollen manufacturer George Chisholm of Allars Mill, Jedburgh. They married on 28 October 1884 in Kelvin, Glasgow.
