William Penny (2 December 1787 - 18 January 1867) was a Scottish painter and engraver.[1][2]
Life

His mother was Margaret Sommerville.
William Penny was born on 2 December 1787 in Mid Calder.[3]
His brother was John Penny (c. 1784 - 29 May 1869) and his sister Margaret Penny (10 March 1792 - 1875).

[edit]He died on 18 January 1867. He is buried in the church of Calder churchyard, Mid Calder, West Lothian.[5]
