John Henderson Tarbet (3 August 1864 - 20 December 1937) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life

His father was James Tarbet (born c. 1837), a house painter from Forfar.
His mother was Euphemia McCulloch (born c. 1840 - 29 October 1916) from Edinburgh. James and Euphemia married on 26 April 1861 in Edinburgh.[4][5][6]
John Alexander Henderson Tarbet was born on 3 August 1864 in Edinburgh.[7]
He married the artist Christian Peddie in 1931 in Edinburgh.

[edit]He died at 12 Atholl Place in Edinburgh on 20 December 1937. The funeral was on 23 December 1937 at Warriston cemetery.[8]
