Frederick Noel Paton (7 November 1861 - 1 July 1914) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was the artist Joseph Noel Paton (13 December 1821 – 26 December 1901) from Dunfermline.
His mother was Margaret Gourlay Ferrier (20 December 1832 - 29 May 1900) from Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire. Joseph and Margaret married on 17 June 1858 in Blythswood, Glasgow.
Frederick Waller Ferrier Noel Paton was born on 7 November 1861 in Edinburgh.
He married Ethel Margaret Alt (20 December 1866 - 18 March 1963) from Nagasaki, Japan. They married on January 1895 in Middlesex, London.

[edit]He died on 1 July 1914 in Edinburgh. He is buried in Dean cemetery.
The value of his estate was worth £5268, 4 shillings and 3 pence.[3]
