John Whitehill Parsons (14 July 1859 - 7 January 1937) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was Frederick William Adam Parsons (born c. 1832) from Greece. He was an army captain in the 24th Regt. Adjutant, Royal Renfrew Militia.

His mother was Martha Scott (4 February 1837 - 18 May 1913) from Largs in Ayrshire. Frederick and Martha married on 4 February 1858 in Greenock.

John Whitehill Parsons was born on 14 July 1859 in Greenock.[9]

He married Lily Buchanan Noble (24 July 1872 - 1946) from Lucknow, India. They married on 24 January 1893 in Murrayfield, Edinburgh.

He died on 7 January 1937 in Worthing, Sussex. His usual address was Broomers House, Pulborough, Sussex.[10]
