James Stuart Park (28 April 1862 - 3 September 1933) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was John Park (1822 - 19 March 1896), a power loom tenter from Catrine in Ayrshire.
His mother was Janet Stuart (1821 - 19 August 1867) from New Cumnock in Ayrshire. John and Janet married on 24 July 1846 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
James Stuart Park was born on 28 April 1862 in Kidderminster, England.[3]
He married Helen Walker Fullerton (1883 - 1939) from Saltcoats, Ayrshire.[4] They married in 1902 in Kilmarnock.
