Charles Oppenheimer (c. 1875 - 16 April 1961) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Ludwig Oppenheimer (c. 1830 - 8 January 1901) from Braunschweig in Saxony, Germany.
His mother was Susan McCulloch Findlay (11 September 1844 - 16 July 1925) from Montrose in Angus. They married on 3 September 1867 in Montrose, Angus.
Charles Oppenheimer was born in Chorlton near Manchester.
He married Constance Emily Taylor (1879 - 27 May 1968). They married in Chorlton in 1903.
