Jessie Margaret Ogilvie (9 May 1886 - 14 July 1967) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life

Her father was William Falconer Ogilvie (c. 1823 - 12 October 1905) from Edinburgh. He was in the Bengal army and later retired living on private means.
Her mother was Sabina Jessie Macpherson (1851 - 11 December 1925) from England. William and Sabina married on 28 January 1881 in Edinburgh.
Jessie Margaret Ogilvie was born on 9 May 1886 in Raeburn Cottage, Edinburgh at 11.20am.
Her sister was the artist Lily Letitia Ogilvie (31 October 1883 - 13 July 1955).

[edit]She died on 14 July 1967 in Edinburgh. She was buried in Dean cemetery, Edinburgh, alongside her parents and sister.[4]
