Inglis Noble (c. 1854 - 9 October 1912) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was Thomas Noble (16 October 1825 - 28 March 1880) from Drumelzier in Peeblesshire.
His mother was Janet Inglis (1 May 1825 - 1908) from Carrington, Midlothian. Thomas and Janet married on 5 December 1852 in Edinburgh.
James Inglis Noble was born c. 1854 in Edinburgh.[8]
His younger brother was the artist Robert Noble and they were cousins of the artist James Campbell Noble.

[edit]He died on 9 October 1912 at Edinburgh. His address then was 67 Inchview Terrace, Edinburgh. The value of his estate was £203, 3 shillings and 3 pence.[9]
