Peter Walker Nicholson (14 December 1856 - 9 September 1885) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was Alexander Nicholson (born 26 November 1825), a solicitor and banker from Pitlochry in Perthshire.
His mother was Mary Ann Walker (15 April 1832 - 29 May 1910) from Leuchars in Fife. Alexander and Mary married on 2 January 1856 in St. Andrews.
Peter Walker Nicholson was born on 14 December 1856 in Cupar, Fife.
Art

[edit]He died on 9 September 1885. He drowned along with 2 others after a boating accident in the Cromarty Firth.[4] He is buried in Cupar cemetery.[5] His usual address was 8 Hartington Gardens, Edinburgh.[6]
