Who is adrest4
[edit]Adrest4 is: Ad van der Rest (the 4th of that name in my family) An Interim Manager working in the Human Resources sector in the UK.
What entitles adrest4 to edit Wikipedia
[edit]Well, as much right as anyone else !
While an editing newbie, I'm trying to be bold and 'improve' Wikipedia in the specific arena of Interim Managment because it is a fairly new area of endeavour (in the scheme of things) about which too little has been properly documented.
I enjoy writing and contributing to 'thought leadership' so maybe I shall expand to related management topics in the future, who knows...
I do know a few things about Interim Management so I shall seek to edit and improve this topic, with due verification and integrity.
My first big 'wake-up call' on Wikipedia was to contribute to improving a section of an article, only to find that overnight, pretty much the whole of the remainder of the article had been deleted for 'instructional sections'. Such power - that was awesome and kind of scary. My next job is to 're-build' some of those deleted ideas in a proper Encyclopedic and verifiable fashion.
