Adnan Alhassan Jambedu is a Ghanaian psychiatric nurse born in the village of Binde, North East Region, on 7th September, 1987. His father, Alhassan Jambedu and his mother, Hawa Alhassan, are peasant farmers. Adnan attended Binde local authority primary and junior high schools. He proceeded to Bawku secondary school and completed in 2005. His love for adventure took him to Ankaful nursing school in cape coast where he studied diploma psychiatric nursing and graduated in 2009. He worked at the Ankaful psychiatric hospital, cape coast, from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, he enrolled at the University of Cape coast to study bachelor degree in education with specialization in psychiatry. He graduated in 2016 with first class honors in bachelor of education. He currently teaches at the Presbyterian nursing and midwifery training college, Bawku. In 2018, he enrolled into the prestigious kwame nkrumah university of science and technology, Kumasi, to study MSc Global Mental health policy, services and development and will be due to graduate in December, 2020. Adnan Alhassan Jambedu is married to Bashiratu Gariba Fango with two children; a boy and a girl. He has interest in reading, traveling and rammed earth building technology.
