Jonathan Mergui

Jonathan Yaakov Mergui (born February 10, 2000), known by his family name "Margie", is an Israeli pop and youth singer. He became famous following his participation in the fifth season of the reality show "The Next Eurovision Star", when he reached the second place in the final. Jonathan was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in the Sheinkin neighborhood to Paddy Margie, an expert in brands and business strategy, and Meital Trabelsi, a singer and actress. Chapter 5 moved to Neve Monosson, where he excelled in his talents at ceremonies and events in the locality. As a child he studied hip hop and modern dance and made it clear that he wanted to be an international pop star. Since September 2018, Margie has been in a relationship with singer Noa Kirl. The two met during the first rehearsals for the Festigal at the dance studio. He lives alternately in Tel Aviv and Yehud-Monosson due to the joint custody of his parents.
