Intelligence can be defined as the ability to solve complex problems or make decisions with outcomes benefiting the actor, and has evolved in lifeforms to adapt to diverse environments for their survival and reproduction.
Intelligence can be defined in psychology as someone who has the ability to learn as well as adapt to situations; and can also use any knowledge acquired to create a desired outcome. Intelligence is a combination of several skills, such as problem solving, understanding abstract concepts, and critical thinking.
This means it if intelligence was to be explained in a mathematical sense it would be as followed:
Intelligence = what you want + what you have + what you do with it.
