The Field Studies Council (abbreviated to FSC) is an educational charity based in the United Kingdom which aims to give young people an experience and appreciation of the natural environment .[1][2] Founded originally in 1943 as the Council for the Promotion of Field Studies, FSC runs a network of residential 'Field Centres' across the country which are frequented primairly by students
