For months I have been a stalker of article’s edits, of talk pages, and now I am here. I wanted to understand not only the guidelines of Wikipedia, but mainly the character of whom is editing Wikipedia. What I think, what I have observed in Wikipedia, and what I will do, can be read next.
First of all, Wikipedia has a great set of rules and guidelines, not everything I agree but really most shows a round table of ideals. The only and severe problem in my opinion is the arrangement. This terrible arrangement, as seen right now, simply instigates edit wars. Such rules, guidelines, etc., must (should by now) always to indicate its origin, that is to say:
- 1- Any, all rule must clearly follow a hierarchy of rules. I.e. any rule or guideline has to be written explicitly showing its genealogic tree.
- 2- At the top must exist only a few rules (five pillars? May be).
- 3- Rules cannot have different interpretations, according to that or other user. Any doubt around a rule, or possible transgression of it, should be resolved checking the hierarchy, like I can say in Latin, a Wikipedian "Magna Carta".
In Wikipedia if you have good sources and clearly proclaim your bias, feel free to add them in articles (I know this is weird, but it is true). But don’t try to induce and deceive the public removing that which isn’t according to your bias. Furtive edits, absent summaries, summaries made with your personal codes are invalid as well as misleading summaries, all of these will be reverted soon or late. Doesn’t matter if arrived here yesterday or years ago, we are watching you, don’t fool yourself, next time can be really worst. Rather be polite, don’t assume that the other editors are clairvoyants (guessing your edits); follow the guidelines of Wikipedia and not only those of which you like, follow all them or give up. Don’t try to manipulate the rules, because you will be caught soon or late. Your aggressiveness is not good or helpful, and if you insist on such bad attitude, then we will block you. Try keep in mind: Wikipedia is made of general consensus. You know that? Great, then apply it or you will pay the pain.
Also don't panic, if you weren’t blocked and you were reverted by me, don’t worry you still is welcome for editing, as long you don’t insist with these same mistakes. Have good edits.
