Tomato Age
[edit]Tomato Age is an novel essay written by Latin scholar Tristan Cedeno. The essay is written on the use of tomatoes throughout history, and has been awarded many times and praised by student and teacher alike. It was published in 2015 by The Publishing Company in Montreal, South Georgia. The premise of Cedeno's essay is a study on the use of tomatoes and how they have contributed to society. Originally, the members of the council Cedeno wrote the essay to didn't like it at first. Later, however, it won the Newberry Award in 2015 for Best Essay of the Year.

In the course of civilization's ages, many a scholar have studied the use and nature of the tomato, but it is my hope that the students and members of the Academia Concilium will gain deeper understanding of the red fruit...
Cedeno sought a revival in the Academia Concilium (Acadelium), and hoped his essay would bring it about. When first read by the members of the Acadelium, many criticized it, calling it "too new" and "awkward." However, one night in November, one of Cedeno's colleagues read the article for himself and liked it. The next day, at a board meeting, he convinced the council of Tomato Age, calling it "the best essay ever since Barbarmagedy." Eventually, the essay found its way to Prime Minister
