Dalia M Al-Baghdadi
[edit]Dalia Al-Baghdadi is a Jordanian physical therapist who was born in 1999. Raised by a lovely Palestinian mother and a Jordanian father. She pursued her academic career at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST).
Dalia earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation in July 2021. Recognizing her academic excellence, she was awarded a scholarship from JUST to pursue a Master of Science in the same field, which she completed in May 2024.
During her graduate studies, Al-Baghdadi gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant in neurological rehabilitation for two years. This role allowed her to contribute to the education of future physical therapists and deepen her understanding of neurological disorders.
A dedicated researcher, Dalia has a particular interest in the psychological impact of medical interventions. In 2024, she made a significant contribution to the field by publishing her first peer-reviewed article, titled "Variations in Depression and Anxiety among Jordanian Women Undergoing Mastectomy and Reconstruction Surgery: Impact of Familial Support."[1] This research highlights the importance of social support in mitigating psychological distress experienced by women undergoing mastectomy.
