This is not a Wikipedia Distinguished Urdu poet of humor, Saeed uz Zaman Abbasi had achieved a lot of prominence by proving his mettle in satire, in addition to being intellectual of Pakistan. He was born on August 23, 1923, in Badayun India, from where he did his early education and later proceeded to the Ali Garh University for his post-graduation in Urdu literature. Additionally, he also did his post-graduation in Horticulture from Chandra Shekar Azad University. He was associated with academia and teachings. After partition he migrated to Pakistan and settled in Karachi where he start Government Job in Pak PWD and retired as Executive Engineer in 1983. Mr. Abbasi began writing at the age of 15. He soon got into the company of noted geniuses, viz., Maulana Jami Badayuni. His literary work comprises ghazals, Hamds and Naats. His compilations also include his DEWAN Aab e Rang (Collection of ghazals). Saeed uz Zaman Abbasi awarded Pride of Performance Presidential Award and Molana Raziq ul Khairi Award from Government of Pakistan for his more than half-century Exquisite work.
