The Ann Arbor Jaycees Foundation supports Washtenaw County's present and future through charitable means. The Foundation was formed in 1996 to act as a non-profit tax-deductible (501c3) fiduciary for Jaycees projects such as the AIDS Memorial Quilt, the Fourth of July Parade, and Food Baskets. In 2005, the Foundation reached its endowment goal of $50,000 and has allowed the Board of Trustees to develop a granting policy in 2006. The first cycle for grant applications began in the Spring of 2007 and continues today.
