Taher Elgamal
[edit]Taher Elgamal (born 1955) is an Egyptian-American engineer, who while chief scientist at Netscape Communications, between 1995 and 1998, co-authored and headed a team that added the E-commerce enabling HTTPS protocol to the Netscape Navigator browser.[18]
