The celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war includes festive and memorable events in honor of the anniversary of Victory of the Soviet Union in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945[1]. 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end the great Patriotic war and over fascism.
Preparing for the parade
[edit]The President Vladimir Putin has declared 2020 the Year[2] of Memory and Glory in Russia. The order of celebration was changed due to the COVID-19 [3]coronavirus disease. Military parade in Russia was held on June 24, and the march of the immortal regiment was scheduled for Jule 26[4], 2020, but was postponed indefinitely due to the epidemic situation.
Holding a military parade
[edit]The Military parade on Rad Square the Victory Day parade on may 9 had to be abandoned due to quarantine measures[5]. It was held on June 24 – the anniversary of the victory. Parade in 1945. 24 newest samples of military technics[6] were demonstrated and on may 9, despite the postponement of the military parade on Rad Square and cloudy weather, the aviator part of the parade took place. The leaders[7] of the 17 countries of the world accepted the invitation and arrived to take part in the Victory on the Rad Square.
The Historical monuments
[edit]On may 9, 2020, the largest monument in the history of modern Russia, the Rzhevsky memorial[8] to the Soviet soldier, was to be opened. It is complex in memory of all red army soldiers on bloody battles[9] near Rzhev in 1942-1943, but the opening date was postponed to June 30 due to COVID-19.
As a part the celebration, it is consecrated[10] the Main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russia Federation and the memorial Road Museum complex opened on its territory.

[edit]Victory day is also celebrated in other countries of the world such as France[11], Great Britain[12], Belarus[13] and others.
