Kiana Catalina Rosa Dykes is a English and Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid in LaLiga F and the English National Team.
Rosa was also a competitive cheerleader from 2018 - 2021 but had been cheerleading since she was two. Rosa was most recently a member of East Coast All Stars in Sydney, Australia. She is known best in the cheer world for her talented tumbling and flying skills. Rosa was part of Blow Up Athletics All Stars team in Sao Paulo, spending the majority of her childhood there. After moving to Sydney, Australia, she spent her last three years of cheerleading at East Coast All Stars while heavily training in Football. In 2021, Rosa won Nationals in Melbourne with East Coast All Stars and went to Worlds, Orlando just months later, finishing her career.
Early Life
Born in Lyon to her parents, Stephanie and Luan, Kiana Rosa started of playing for the PSG Academy in Lyon before moving to Brazil. From age 5 - 10, Rosa played for Barcelona Pro Academy Brazil in Sao Paulo until her father, Luan tragically passed away in a car accident. This left her mother, Stephanie to move to Sydney, Australia as a single mother to three daughters. While in Sydney, Rosa played for Juventus Academy for a year before focusing on playing for Australian Youth Football Institute and Westfield's Sports High School Football Team. In 2021, Rosa came back from World's for East Coast All Stars Sydney just a week before her youngest sister passed away. The family moved once more to Manchester, England where Rosa played for Blackburn Rovers Academy and Manchester United Academy. She finished her studies at Fred Longworth High School.
Club Career
Real Madrid (2023 - 2024)
In 2023, Rosa signed her first professional contract for Real Madrid just one day after her Sixteenth Birthday. She made her debut for the club on the 7th October 2023 against Villareal with the match ending in 2 - 0 to Real Madrid. She got her first assist in this game. Rosa scored her first professional goal on the 10th November 2023 against Real Sociedad.
Olympique Lyonnais (2024 - 2027)
In 2024, Rosa signed for Olympique Lyonnais on 28th September 2024 on a 1 1/2 year contract with option to extend. She made her debut for the club on 27th October 2024 against Montpellier and got two assists. She made her debut goal just the week after on 3rd November 2024, she scored the goal from outside of the box, sending fans wild. After her first contract, she signed another 1 1/2 contract with option to extend. Rosa decided to depart ways with Olympique Lyonnais after Manchester City claimed her interest.
Manchester City (2027 - 2029)
In 2027, Manchester City got Rosa's signature for a contract with 3 years. The club became attracted to Rosa since the start of the World Cup. She made her debut for the club on the first match of the season and scored her debut goal on the same day.
Arsenal (2029 - 2039)
In 2029, Arsenal had bought Rosa from Manchester City on a 700k Fee. Rosa spent ten years at the club before her retirement days after her World Cup Win.
International Career
In September 2021, Rosa joined her first England U15 Camp just one month after moving from Australia. A year later, she was named in U17 England Squad List for the Euro Qualifiers Round 1. A year later, Rosa was meant to be in U17 Euros however, had to withdraw due to GCSES taking place in May and the team ended the Euro dreams in the Semi-Finals against Spain. In February 2024, Rosa was named in another U17 England Squad and went on to win the MIMA Cup with her teammates. A week after the win, she returned to her club, Real Madrid, and got her first call up to the Lionesses Squad.
Rosa made her debut for England on 23rd February 2024 ending 5 - 0 in a friendly to Austria. Rosa scored her debut goal on the same day. She was called up again in April 2024 for the start of Euro's Qualifiers however, she didn't play. Rosa didn't make a return to England until January 2025 for the Arnold Clark Cup.
Rosa's first appearance since her Debut was the first England Game in the Euro's.
