Early Years
[edit]Pellegrini was born in Sparkill, New York to photographer Roger Pellegrini of Italian origin, and actress Maureen Mooney. She received a B.A. from Wellesley College, then attended the French Culinary Institute in New York City. She went on to cook in restaurants in New York and France, including Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Gramercy Tavern, and Michelin starred restaurant in Provence, La Chassagnette.[1]
