Hello,

The 21 in my user name stands for the quakeworld clan I used to be in, 21+. My name is Kevin and I am 39 years old, married, and have 4 children.

My interest are history, my family and gardening.

Gardening

I do not mean raising roses either. If a plant does not bear fruit, chop it down, cut it up and use it as fertilizer for something that does. The same should go forth in life. If a relationship, or a friendship does not bear fruit, if nothing good comes from it, cut it away.

Food does not come from the grocery store, it comes from the ground. Silly how that works - people pay good money for something that comes out of the ground. Money does not grow on trees, but money can be saved by growing a fruit tree.

Gardeners are the people the closet to GOD. Gardeners understand the relationship between life and death better then most. As GOD brought forth life from dirt, so do gardeners, just with a little help. Gardeners share the life they bring forth, through food, with others.

History

There are the classic terms, such as - "those that forget the mistakes of the past are condemned to report them." Yea, everyone knows of those terms, but what about: "those that forget their history, forget their past", "those that do not know their history, do not know their selves", "only through history can we know who "we" really are." History is "us," it is "them" it is everyone, to truly know yourself, you must know your history.

Any person that cast their history aside, should be cast down.

Family

Set a good example for your children and grandchildren. Do not smoke, do not curse, do not drink, do not use illegal drugs, do not strike your spouse, do not yell, do not speak when angry, respect your parents, do not steal, surely do not be a drunkard. Treat everyone you meet with respect, as an equal to yourself. Act in front of your children as you want them to conduct their selves later in life.

The person that plays the greatest role in a childs life, is well, their parents. As a role model, conduct yourself properly.
