[edit]

This is where you will compile the bibliography for your Wikipedia assignment. Add the name and/or notes about what each source covers, then use the "Cite" button to generate the citation for that source

  • Bennett, Judith M. "Death and the Maiden." Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies 42.2 (2012): 269-305
    • This is a journal published by University of South California and speaks a lot on the background of the plague maiden as well as the historical context behind it. [1]
  • Ziegler, Philip. The black death. Faber & Faber, 2013.
    • A very long and detailed look into the Black death and speaks on the plague maidens roll in it. [2]
  • Ampe, Birgit. "Chaucer's Pardoner's Tale and Its 2003 BBC Adaptation."
    • Speaks a little bit on the Plague Maiden as the cause for the black plague spreading across Europe[3]
  • Muniz, Alanna. The Survival of the Neolithic Goddess in Polish Folklore, Myth, and Tradition. Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, 2010.
    • An excellent source I only recently found that speaks a lot on the polish lore as a whole and speaks on the Plague maiden as a figure in Polish history and mythos. [4]
