Veronika Grimm (born 5 September 1971) is a German economist. She holds the Chair of Economic Theory at the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg and is a member of the German Council of Economic Experts.[1] Her research focuses on market design, behavioural economics and networks.
Education
[edit]Grimm graduated with a diploma in economics from the University of Kiel in 1998. She went on to further study at the Humboldt University of Berlin and received her Ph.D. in 2002.[2]
Career
[edit]The University of Alicante made Grimm assistant professor in 2003. She left for a research fellowship at the Chair of Axel Ockenfels of the University of Cologne in 2005, was made assistant professor in 2006 and was appointed to her current position of full professor at the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg, where she also directs the Laboratory of Experimental Research, in 2008. She serves as the dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law since 2018.[2]
She is a member of the academic board advising the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.[3]
