Intro Hello everyone. My name is Tom and I am a high school student at Croatan High School. If it wasn't for my AP Biology class I probably never would have created this Wikipedia account. I'm just not a very computer-savvy person so I use it mostly for watching pointless videos on Youtube, buying stuff, and doing research for school projects.

A Little Bit About Myself Something I will always be sure of in this life is that everyone has the "answers" and no one can tell who has the right ones. With all the different religions, fringe sciences, and other nonsensical B.S. floating around I feel like I'm playing some kind of lottery to win "salvation". Can't get saved if you don't play, right? I spend the majority of my time pondering about politics, religion, human nature, and the existence or nonexistence of an objective reality. It's difficult for me to establish any kind of intellectual connection with many people of my generation but that's understandable, given some of the subjects I often think about would never rear their ugly heads in the care-free minds of my friends. Thankfully, I have ways of temporarily distracting myself from the big questions. I take solace in lifting weights, walking and running on the beach, and hanging out with my little brother. Doing these things somehow makes me almost forget all of my problems and responsibilities. Despite everything,being inevitably ignorant in respect to what happens after death, the meaning of existence, and how the first organism came about has left me with no choice but to hang on for the ride and enjoy this vexing thing we call life.
