I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your post at the Wiki Guides project. First, I want to say thank you very much for sticking with this project we call Wikipedia. It shows a real sense of commitment on your part and I appreciate it. You have been a model Wikipedian and had to go through a lot to get here.
I believe Wikipedia has a problem with the way it treats users, especially new users. I don't think Wikipedia understands how users feel when they try to contribute — not understanding the rules — and then having their efforts deleted and being scolded too. I have been researching this for the past couple of months. Sometime in the next couple months, I am hoping to write up some basic changes to make Wikipedia a more friendly place. I would like to ask some questions and get your input and suggestions sometime in the next few weeks. I think your viewpoint would be extremely valuable considering all that you have gone through.
