I noticed that there is no page strictly for the Five Points of Calvinism (TULIP), and whenever you search for those terms it takes you to a section on the Calvinism page. Therefore, I am working on my own page dedicated to the 5 points of Calvinism.

TULIP is an acronym for the Five Points of Calvinism. The five points are five basic teachings of Calvinism, and although John Calvin did not create the five points himself or ever use them as a model, his followers later made five points according to his teachings in response to the Five Points of Arminianism. Calvinism is composed of broader teachings than TULIP, but the five points are the main teachings. The Five Points of Calvinism are also called the Doctrines of Grace.

The Five Points of Calvinism in acrostic form

L - Limited atonement
I - Irresistible grace

Total Depravity

[edit]

Total Depravity teaches that as a result of the Fall of Man, every person born into the world is morally corrupt. This teaching is similar to Original Sin.
