Archive of Possible Article Topics
[edit]I asked some of my colleagues for suggestions on new Wikipedia articles related to nature and environment. Here's what they had to say. If you want to claim any of these topics, post a note here.
- "I did my undergrad thesis on the prose memoirs of American poet John Haines. Haines won notoriety with his writings concerning time spent as a modern day homesteader and trapper in Alaska. They are some of the finest the state has ever produced."
- "One possible topic: The Global 2000 Report to the President (1980). (See Kirkpatrick Sale, The Green Revolution)."
- "I noticed that some of the key ecocritics don't have entries: Cheryl Glotfelty, Harold Fromm, Scott Slovic, Fred Waage. Might give your students an opportunity to review their main works, and to link to the ecocriticism entry."
Here are some more places to look for ideas... But be careful! Not all the ideas suggested here will meet the three criteria. It's up to you to evaluate the suitability of these article suggestions.
