Partula hebe is a species of partulid within the genus Partula. The species is referred to as the rose-tip partula[1], and is endemic to Raiatea.
Distribution
[edit]Captive breeding
[edit]P. hebe is in the breeding program and ever since the last 9 individuals were brought into captivity the captive breeding for this species has been extremely successful.
Phylogeny
[edit]Phylogenetic analyses found that P. hebe is sister to the P. rosea-P. varia clade.[2]
Taxonomy
[edit]P. hebe was originally described in Bulimus (B. hebe) before being moved to Partula.
