[edit]My hobbies consist of playing sports, watching TV, painting, and reading. The sports I play incude, shot put, discus, javelin, basketball, volleyball, and rowing. I enjoy watching anime. A few of my favorite anime series are, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan, Hunter X Hunter and Jujutsu Kaisen. I have recently gotten more into reading. Reading helps reduce my stress. Reading is found to lower feelings of distress, lower blood pressure and lower heart rate.[1] Painting also helps me to relieve stress.

Article Evaluation
[edit]I really enjoyed visiting Hawaii and loved all the local treats to try. One of the well known treats there were the shortbread macadamia nut cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company. I visited the Honolulu Cookie Company article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects worth commenting on: left out contents, dead links, and recent articles.
Missing Contents
[edit]When I first visited this page the first two things I noticed was that there wasn’t a list of flavors and there was no picture of the logo. The article mentioned some of the released seasonal flavors but was missing a list of all the main flavors. The article was missing any visual representation of the company. Most Wikipedia articles have a picture of something related to the subject. The article mentions the classic pineapple logo but has no picture of it.
Dead Links
[edit]I found that two of the citations were dead. The pages were not found. The first first article was to support the idea for the reason for the pineapple logo, as it is a symbol of hospitality in Hawaii. The second link was for an article about an award given to Honolulu Cookie Company. I searched for the award and found a different article on the same award given to the company.[2] It seems it would be easy to replace the citation and fix the dead link.
Recent Articles
[edit]I noticed that most of the articles in the citations were not the most recent being from 2018. In those articles it lists the partnerships that Honolulu Cookie has made. I then looked for more recent articles and found some from 2020. Which talked about a partnership with Costco wholesale.[3] Adding new information and finding the article wouldn’t take much time.
Summary
[edit]Overall I would say this article is “lacking”. It provides good information on the company’s history and what the company is but is missing some small details that would improve the quality of the article. Giving attention to the dead links, updating it with more recent links and adding details will improve the article.The fixes seem to be very simple and easy to accomplish.
