Falcons, grey birds (Serbian: Соколови, сиви тићи/Sokolovi, sivi tići, Serbo-Croatian: Sokolovi, sivi tići ) - unofficial anthem of Republic of Serbian Krajina. The song represents a modification of the same-named chetnik song form World War II.[1]
Lyrics
[edit]Serbian version | English version |
---|---|
Falcons, gray-birds, you courageous borderlanders from Knin! We defend the land of our grandfathers, We defend Dalmatia, We protect our goods Our mothers raised us, We cherish only that which is ours, We are proud and fearless, We will bring the Serbian race |
History
