Ahmed Hassan Ali al-Rashidi (in Arabic:أحمد حسن علي الرشيدي) is an Egyptian doctor, was one of the first Egyptian doctors in the era of Mohammed Ali Pasha. He lived until the early days of Isma'il Pasha, and he has several works in medicine, nature and kinship.[1]
His life
[edit]Ahmed Hassan al-Rashidi taught at Al-Azhar mosque and the medical school in Abu Zaabal. The Egyptian government sent him to Paris. He completed his medical studies and returned to Cairo in 1838. He was appointed a natural science teacher at the medical school until he was closed at the beginning of the Khedive era. So he went to the classification and treatment, until he died in 1865.
His works

- The joy of the presidents in gynecology, the joy of interest in the treatment of children
- the beautiful kindergarten in the treatment of dermatology (two volumes)
- the equivalent in the treatment of deformities of the joints
- the needs of the needy in the science of medicine
- treatment (four large parts) In natural geography.
and also has a message in smallpox vaccination.
Honored
[edit]A street named after him in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood near Palace of Aini Hospital and is now the center of many shops and companies specializing in medical tools. It connects the Sayeda Zeinab 4Subway Station with the French Faisi Palace.
